The Kids Ministry exists to partner with parents in bringing their children into a relationship with Christ and helping them live out the Gospel where they live, learn, and play.
Sunday Mornings
All of your kids, regardless of their age, are welcome to join you for the entirety of both the 8:30am traditional and 11:00am blended worship services, but we also have some age-specific classes available during the 11:00 service. Nursery and Equip classes are also available for kids of all ages from 9:45-10:45am (note that this is 10 minutes later than adult classes end, to give those parents who need it the time to pick up their children). Our Nursery and Kids Classrooms are not open during the traditional service. The Moms and Babies room across from the Kids Wing is available for those who may need to step out with a child during this service. Kids Bulletins are available in the back of the Sanctuary to help younger kids participate in worship—one for early or non-readers, and one for more confident readers.
6 months–23 months
Nursery is available for infants and babies aged 6 months through 23 months. Our Kids Wing greeter will point you to the correct room. You will have the option to pick your child up after Equip classes end or leave them in the nursery rooms up through when the blended worship service concludes.
2s–5th grade
Kids Equip Classes, separated by age, are available for all kids from 2 years old through 5th grade. The Kids Wing greeter will guide you and your child to the appropriate room. You will have the option to pick your preschool-age and younger child up after Equip classes end at 10:45am or after the blended worship service concludes at 12:15pm. Kids in Kindergarten and older will need to be checked out by a parent after Kids Equip classes end at 10:45am.
6 months–3s
Nursery for kids from 6 months to 3 years are available. They can be dropped off before the blended worship service starts at 11:00am, or at any point during the worship service as well. If they were in the nursery during the Equip hour, you are not required to pick them up between the conclusion of that class and the start of the worship service. The Kids Wing greeter will guide you and your child to the appropriate room.
4s & PreK 5s
Preschool Kids Worship classes are available for all 4-year-olds and any 5-year-olds who haven't started kindergarten yet. They can be dropped off before the blended worship service starts at 11:00am, or at any point during the worship service as well. If they were in a Kids Equip class, you are not required to pick them up between the conclusion of that class and the start of the worship service. The Kids Wing greeter will guide you and your child to the appropriate room.
K–2nd grade
All kids in kindergarten through 2nd grade will start in the Sanctuary at the beginning of the blended worship service at 11:00am, and will be dismissed to the main lobby to meet their Kids Worship teachers after the offertory, which is typically between 11:20-11:30 or so. They can be picked up from their classroom after the blended service concludes at 12:15pm.
3rd–5th grade
All kids from 3rd grade through 5th grade are invited to worship with their families for the duration of the blended worship service. Kids Bulletins are available in the back of the Sanctuary to help younger kids participate in worship—one for early or non-readers, and one for more confident readers. Our hope is our kids will fully participate in the church-wide worship service with their families.
Kids Ministry Curriculum
During Kids Worship, toddlers are taught from the year-long Bible storybook curriculum God Loves Me, and our preschoolers through 2nd graders will learn about why and how we worship with the Teach Us to Worship curriculum. Equip class curriculum can be found here.
Parent Resources
Located across the hall from the Kids Wing, the Moms & Babies Room is designed for mothers of infants and babies. If you need a private place to feed your child, a quiet room for them to nap, a changing table, or just a place to go when they're struggling to remain in the worship service, this room is for you! The worship service is livestreamed to this room so you can continue to worship while you care for your little ones.
