Arts & Outreach Council

A  branch of the missions committee focused on reaching our local community

What is our vision?

Get CCC out into the arts community of Carmel,  and get the arts community of Carmel into CCC.

What questions are we pursuing?

  • How can arts and culture bring people together and build community?
  • In what ways can we engage our local community as people transformed by the Gospel of Christ?

What events are coming up and how can you get involved?

  • May 4, 2018 at 6 pm: Invite friends and join us on a group activity to see a 1st Friday show at Redeemer Presbyterian Church's Harrison Center for the Arts, where our own Melissa Livermore will have an art exhibit. This evening will also kick-off the #porchpartyinitiative "porch parties" going on throughout the summer. More information on that soon!
  • June 9, 2018, 6-9 pm: Gather your friends and stroll through all the galleries in the Carmel Arts District during this 2nd Saturday "Carmel Arts Walk." Around 7:30 pm, stop in for a treat at the Indiana Artisan gallery, where our own Chip Kalleen is on the Board of Directors.
  • September 15, 2018: We will be welcoming nationally recognized artist David Slonim for a family-friendly art exhibit at CCC. Along with having illustrated over 20 children's books, Mr. Slonim is well known for his abstract painting style, and has works held in the permanent collections of several museums and shown by galleries in New York, Chicago, Boston, and beyond.

What is our goal?

Our goal is for you to use these events to foster relationships and build community with neighbors and friends. If you are interested in getting involved, contact us at and we will put you on our mailing list. We hope that you will join us on this journey to pursue blessing and forming relationship with our local community!
