PURPOSE & VISION  |  YOUTH TEAM  |  PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES  |  CALENDAR

Our team is made up of people who have been captivated by the Gospel of Jesus and want to love students by sharing this good news with them. We're all about building relationships with students, encouraging students to do the same with each other, and shepherding them wherever they're at in their spiritual journey! Honestly, we just love having fun and hanging out with middle and high schoolers. Read below to learn a bit more about each member of the team!

  • Brad Hough

Brad is the Student Ministry Director at Christ Community. He's married to Jami, and the two of them have a two-year-old girl named Theodora. Brad has been involved in youth ministry in one form or another for over 10 years, and he is currently earning his Master's degree from Covenant Theological Seminary. He loves hiking and playing board games, and one of his favorite parts of youth ministry is being able to help students recognize the ways that the Gospel transforms the normal, everyday parts of life.

  • Jami Hough

Jami is a volunteer youth leader at Christ Community. She loves the fact that the Lord has given both her and her husband, Brad, a love for youth ministry, and delights in getting to serve with him. Some of her favorite parts of youth ministry include helping students develop a desire to study God's word and the confidence to know that they are able to do it. Jami enjoys game nights with friends, going on walks with her dog, and crafting. She also loves all the joys and challenges of parenting her and Brad's daughter, Theodora!

  • Caitlin Kent

Caitlin is a volunteer youth leader at Christ Community. She is married to Kyle and works as an occupational therapist in an outpatient clinic. Caitlin has worked in youth ministry since being out of high school and enjoys mentoring middle school students and helping them grow in their walk with God. She loves outdoor activities but will equally engage in board games and jigsaw puzzles. Caitlin and Kyle are excited to be growing their family but love their “youth group kids” too much to be gone for too long.

  • Kyle Kent

Kyle is a volunteer youth leader at Christ Community. He works as a broker for Charles Schwab. Kyle is married to Caitlin, and they have been married for five years. Kyle has been serving in youth ministry for ten years and loves showing students how to understand the Bible and live out God's truth. He also enjoys being outdoors, reading, and playing sports.

  • Tracy DeWitt

Tracy is a volunteer youth leader, and has been serving in youth ministry for almost twenty years. During the week she is also the Business Manager at Christ Community, but there is nowhere else she would rather serve in the church than the youth ministry! Not only are all the kids such a joy to work with, but Tracy has been blessed to serve alongside some amazing youth leaders! Where else do you continue to get to play games, eat snacks, hang out and hear some awesome Gospel messages and rockin' praise songs? Serving the Lord never feels like work when you get to hang out with teenagers. Tracy looks forward to Thursday evening Bible studies with the high school girls and Sunday afternoon youth group each week. She praises God for the wonderful youth program that seeks to learn and grow in faith and fun each week!

  • Jessica Livermore

Jessica is a volunteer youth leader and the Kids Ministry Director at Christ Community. She spent her middle and high school years in Carmel and has attended Christ Community since her family first moved here. After college at Ball State and two years interning with Cru in East Asia, her love for working with kids brought her back to the states, and eventually back to CCC. She began serving with the youth team soon after. She loves coffee and conversations with friends, a good book, and exploring new places wherever she finds herself. One of her favorite parts of youth ministry is getting to engage with students about the Gospel, talking about how Jesus impacts all parts of our lives, and living in light of that truth.

  • Arie DeWitt

Arie is a volunteer youth leader at Christ Community. He is a sophomore at IUPUI in downtown Indianapolis, studying finance in the Kelley School of Business. Arie has been serving with the Christ Community youth group since Fall 2020, and had been involved in it since he was a kid. He loves video games and anything to do with sports, especially football and basketball. His favorite part of serving in youth ministry is getting to form long-lasting friendships with the youth and getting to see how God matures them in faith.

  • Scott Livermore

Scott is a volunteer youth leader and an elder at Christ Community. He has been working with Cru and middle and high school students for more than a generation. He and his wife Kristin (an educator by training) have four grown children. He loves playing board games, having people over for a meal, and investing spiritually in the lives of others. His favorite part of working with the students is seeing the light bulb turn on, whether that is coming to Christ, or understanding their identity in Christ, or seeing God work through them.
